The Aquatic Centre was the venue for swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming during the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
DMG were commended by the International Olympic Council (IOC) for the construction build of the centre including exceeding strict water retention specifications prior to applied finishes and the quality of the diving platform.
